Marty Moran's great grandfather – also formally named Martin Joseph Moran – once peed next to Teddy Roosevelt. His namesake recently experienced a similar brush with destiny when an exact replica of his couch began appearing regularly on the popular doctor ha ha show, Scrubs.

When he's not reclining on said couch or traipsing about the American landscape, Moran teaches writing and literature at Colorado State University, where he received his MFA in Creative Writing in the spring of 2007.

He has poems forthcoming in Santa Clara Review, Interim, and Matter.

To preserve the integrity of the flow of the poems, we have placed them on individual pages, free of formatting or navigation. Please use your browser's button to return to Marty's page after you are finished with each piece.
